James Baskett as Uncle Remus singing "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah", a song by Allie Wrubel and Ray Gilbert, in the 1946 Disney classic "Song of the South". The Song won the 1947 Academy Award for best song, and in 1948 Baskett was presented with an honorary Academy Award for his portrayal of Uncle Remus.
