Description
In November 2019, Yo-Yo Ma visited Australia for the first time. As well as giving sold-out performances of the Bach Cello Suites, he organised public performances and discussions in Sydney and Melbourne.
Here he plays Appalachia Waltz as part of the Sydney "Day of Action", which included a panel discussion with Indigenous artists.
Ma was touring Australia as part of his Bach Project, and the event was hosted by Urban Theatre Projects at Barangaroo.
