Instead of finding peace and enlightenment, I found the darkest nights I'd ever seen with the most frightening sounds coming from the woods at night (no Slenderman present because he already fled the scene out of fear). I spent 3 days alone (+ whiskey) in the middle of nowhere in a cottage in the woods to answer some questions for myself: "What do I want to do with my life? Where will I be in 26 years?". I wasn't planning on writing a song, but amidst the weird noises and the solitude this kinda happened.

"Night In The Woods" is about feeling stuck and being anxious about your deathbed regrets.
