Hello friends! This is video of me playing along to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds full length album "Chasing Yesterday." The video and audio is from one full take at about 12:30am. The individual videos of the songs are broken up due to copyright restrictions surrounding the album. Those who are viewing in the Ireland and the United Kingdom can see the full 45 minute video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Eb7pgRBF_o
"In the Heat of the Moment", "The Girl With X-Ray Eyes", "Lock All the Doors", and "The Ballad of the Mighty I" are blocked worldwide, except for the Ireland and the United Kingdom.
This is without a doubt my favorite album released in 2015. There isn't a bad song on this whole thing, so I decided to record a cover of the album. I highly encourage you to pick up a hard copy.
This was again recorded using two microphones. I do miss having the flexibility of a microphone on each drum, but the quality of the conversion on the Apollo interface is just amazing. I had to be very conscious of my volume and my balance throughout the entire recording which is a challenge, but it is something that I need to get used to. Front to back it's a great record. Enjoy!
The drummer on the original track was Jeremy Stacey; you can still hear his playing in the background of the mix.
