David once wrote in the Psalms:
“He lifted me out of the miry clay… put my feet upon a rock… and put a new song in my mouth. Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.”

Notice—David didn’t say many will hear it. He said they will see it.

That’s because the “song” God gives His people is more than words or melodies. It’s our whole life—our steadfastness, our kindness, our trust in Him when the world shakes. It’s the way we enter a room, the way we treat our neighbors, the way we stay gentle even when others aren’t kind to us. It’s a song of confidence, praise, and trust that can be “heard” without ever being sung.

I share how God birthed a song in me as a brand-new believer, sitting in a farmhouse kitchen with my guitar. I didn’t know it would travel. Years later, in Jamaica, I began to teach it to a gathering of over a thousand pastors—only to find they already knew it and were singing it with me. The song had made its way there without my knowing.

That’s how God works. A good sermon has a shelf life. But a God-given song—whether sung or simply lived—can travel far and last forever.

So I ask you: What song are you singing with your life right now?
Is it a song of love? Of trust? Of confidence in God through Jesus Christ?

May your life today be a song that others can see—one that points them to the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the One who will be with you at the beginning, at the end, and forever.
