What's goin on guys! I'm Bridget Daly reporting for ClevverMusic. Weird Al has just released a parody video called Perform This Way that's based off Gaga's Born This Way. It's only been up on Vevo for a matter of hours and already has tens of thousands of views. Weird Al goes all out with multiple outfit changes, including mimicking Gaga's bubble dress, her meat get-up, and even includes his own version of the human-sized egg Gaga arrived in at the Grammys.
As you might remember, Al had a tough time even getting approval from Gaga's peeps to release this video. But he said it was all just a miscommunication with the singer's management, and apparently Gaga wasnt aware that he was trying to make the parody vid. He told Billboard, "When she actually did hear the song she loved it and gave me permission." We gotta say, he definitely pulled out all the stops with the costumes, and did anyone else notice the abs on Weird Al? Who knew!
