오늘은 삼일절 휴일 낮, 충청북도 청주시의 최고 번화가인 성안로 거리를 걸어봅니다.
청주라는 지명은 "맑고 깨끗한 고장",
성안길은 "성 안에 있는 길"이라는 뜻으로 붙여졌습니다.
청주는 교육의 도시로 유명했고 지금은 충청북도 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화의
중심지입니다.
청주에서 시내라고 하면 "성안로" 일대를 지칭합니다.
주로 젊은 학생들이 많고, 청년층, 장년층이 연인, 가족단위의 쇼핑을 즐기는 곳이기도 합니다.
충청북도 도청을 시작으로 성안로의 중앙공원의 청주 압각수(수령 900년), 청주 망선루 등을
돌아보고 골목 구석구석을 걸어봅니다.
영상 하이라이트에는 역사적으로 유명한 용두사지 철당간도 잠깐 넣어봤습니다.
