Description
“The Fisherman’s Song” is a Taiwanese folk tune that paints a picture of the simple joys of a fisherman’s life. Arranged by Nelson Kwei for the Victoria School Choir at the 1995 Pacific Basin Choral Festival in Hawaii, this vibrant a cappella work has since resonated with choirs in both SSA and TTB voicings.
We brought this piece to life once more at Remembering Our Stories—a concert celebrating the Singaporean choral journey through SYF set pieces, new commissions and music written for our local choirs by both homegrown and international composers.
