Update: Ánde Somby of Vajas performed "The Yoik Of The Wolf" in the funeral for the former manager of The Sex Pistols, Malcolm McLaren, in April of 2010. Read a (badly) translated page from a Norwegian paper here:

This is the lyrics to "Sparrow of the Wind" in English:
Wind Gossip
Gossip Winds
Wind Gossip
Me the Storm Sparrow
I am the Sparrow
The Sparrow among sparrows
Silence knocking
Knocking Silence
Silence knocking
Me the Eagle of Silence
I am the Eagle
The Eagle among eagles
Calm Needed
Needed Calm
Calm Needed
Me the Whirlpool of Calmness
I am the Whirlpool
The Whirlpool among whirlpools

The exotic Sami/Norwegian group Vajas performing Sparrow of the Wind at The Park Theatre (Parkteatret), Oslo, Norway. "Sparrow of the Wind" is sung in the old native Sámi language. You can read more about that language here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sami_languages
Singer, poet and also Juris Doctor Ànde Somby has a Ph.D. in law and he really is a both an academic and a "free natural yoik'er" of Sami origin. Doctor Somby also has a LOT of humor, I can assure you. The Sámi people use music in a much more free spirited way than in most other traditions. Counting bars really do not mean that much to them. The "bow-wow-wow" thing is like "humming" in his native language :-)
Keep playing "Sparrow of the Wind". You can buy the album "Sacred Stone" on the Internet (also on ITunes) and my qualified guess is that you will enjoy the whole album for whatever reason.
