"Washington Post March", also often just referred to as, "The Washington Post", was composed in 1889 by John Philip Sousa and has remained one of his most popular marches, used by the US and nation abroad. The march was composed dedicated to the newspaper of the same name, made to promote the newspaper's new owners who bought the paper in 1888.
