Ultra Nerdy - Eurorack Oscillator Tuning Stability Tests

I wanted this stream to be a jam session and patch breakdown of that session, but I've been experiencing some tuning stability anomalies with my oscillators - so we're going deep! I'll be testing all my oscillator modules to see which ones can hold a STABLE pitch. Synth nerds unite! Hahaha ;)

WHAT DID I LEARN FROM THIS TEST SESSION?

1. I must turn on the system(s) one hour before tuning and using - to let everything everything hit thermal equilibrium - EVEN IF I AM USING ONLY DIGITAL MODULES.

2. The Oscillators I own that are the MOST pitch stable are:
a. Mutable Instruments Braids (Authentic MI module, not a clone)
b. Mutable Instruments Plaits (Authentic MI module, not a clone)
c. Calsynth Pleiades (Clone of MI Plaits)
d. Mazzatron Wavemorph VCVDCO
e. Nano Modules ONA
f. Erica Synths Bassline

The Mosaic 1u Analong VCO was not very stable.

*** I had trouble getting the Erica Synths Graphic VCO tuned exactly to a "C" with only a COARSE tuning knob, and it was not very pitch stable. HOWEVER, I searched the manual after the stream and THERE IS A FINE TUNE pitch adjustment available, if you HOLD DOWN the top right knob, it switches to FINE TUNE MODE and you can dial in a very precise/accurate pitch using the left knob. Using that method - the pitch STABILITY was 100% stable and perfect with ZERO pitch drift! ***

*** I FOUND FINE TUNING CONTROL ON MI PLAITS!! The FM (Frequency Modulation) attenuverter serves as a fine-tune control when no external CV is patched into the FM input!! ***

During this test session, The 2 Blue Lantern Modules clones of the MI Braids Module were both pretty stable, even though it was a pitch instability issue with one of them that started this whole rabbit hole test journey in the first place.... Regardless, the actual MI Braids module had better pitch stability than the clones did.
