Dann Huff is a prolific songwriter, producer and session guitarist who has an extremely prolific resume too large to list here. He is relatively unknown as a guitarist to the public, but has been involved with many extremely successful songs over the past several decades. He resides in Nashville Tennessee

Danger Zone was a massive hit song accompanying one of the most successful movies of the 80's, Top Gun. This was not Kenny Loggins' first hit, he scored other soundtrack hits with "I'm alright" from Caddyshack and Footloose. Dann Huff's short but effective solo uses the standard pentatonic scale. I love his processed guitar sound, it has that classic 80's lead guitar feel which is perfect for a song like this.
