Description
"TOOTSODE" is a composition by jazz harmonica player Tim Welvaars. A song to honour Toots as Tim's main source of inspiration and musical mentor.
It began back in 1988. Trough one of his teachers, the famous arranger Jerry van Rooyen, Tim had the honor of receiving an invitation from Toots for a masterclass at his place in Belgium. This masterclass had an amazing impact on Tim's life and musical aspirations: he would devote himself to playing the jazz harmonica as beautifully as possible for the rest of his life...inspired by Toots' ingenious, wonderful music and skills.
