Description
Favela Brass is free music school which offers at-risk children in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the chance to transform their lives by learning a brass instrument and playing in a band. We provide free tuition for our students in the favelas and state schools and instruments for them to practice on at home, as well as public performance and cultural exchange opportunities. We also provide universally accessible instructional materials through our YouTube channel.
