Description
The centrepiece of TM Krishna's recital at the FEA/Experimenter produced The Essential TM Krishna Concert in Kolkata was his rendition of the Mysore Vasudevacharya composition "Brocevarevarura Ninnu Vina Raghuvara" in Raga Khamas.
Krishna was accompanied by Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Arunprakash Krishnan on mridangam and Chandrasekara Sharma on ghatam. Tanpura support was provided by Krishna's student Vignesh Krishnamurthy and Ritwik Pal.
One of the highlights of the piece was an exquisite Thani Avarthanam between Arunprakash and Chandrasekara.
