Als ich 1985 am Anfang meiner Karriere stand, wurde ich über Nacht erfolgreich und ich wusste nicht, was auf mich zukam und konnte nicht im Ansatz erahnen, dass meine Karriere nun schon 40 Jahre anhält.

Wenn ich in dem Video DON‘T FLY TOO HIGH mein „junges Ich“ anschaue, wünsche ich ihm alles Gute und dass er niemals „zu hoch fliegt“.

Wenn man mit Demut und Dankbarkeit durch‘s Leben geht, meint es das Schicksal meist gut mit einem.

Das waren die Gedanken, als ich den Song zusammen mit meinem Produzenten Christian Geller geschrieben habe.
