The Whippoorwills are one of those bands that you just don't hear mentioned enough.I always loved that combination of Guitar & Mandolin together with some tight arrangements yet plenty of room for twin lead solos.It is especially good when it is two of the best players on the respective instruments (Roy Lanham - Guitar) (Doug Dalton - Mandolin) These guys could really play.
