AKA "Switched On Young"
A microtonal improvisation around La Monte Young's "Opening Chord" from The Well-Tuned Piano. Don't see many videos of people utilising the alternative tuning function of the Prophet 6 online, so I thought I'd dive in and play around in the sonic world of the Grandfather of Minimalism.
The Opening Chord consists of the following notes and ratios:
E♭ 1/1 - B♭ 3/2 - C 7/4 - E♭ 2/1 - F 9/8 - B♭ 6/2
Performed live on the Sequential Prophet 6, featuring a Minimoog Voyager drone.
