Now, 55 years later it is still one of the world’s most favourite things. But how did the release of the film in 1965 impact the real life von Trapp family? Today we’re joined by the youngest of the real von Trapp children Johannes von Trapp (82), and his son Sam, to hear how his mother’s memoir was embellished for Hollywood.
