Description
A Dorian = one sharp, i.e. same fingering as for the G Major scale. The Rakes Of Kildare is commonly played in two versions, A Dorian (as here) and G Major (also available on this YouTube channel). I like to play both versions as a set, with the Major version first. Notated, tabbed for mandolin and played on his G&O #34 by Aidan Crossey.
