There's too much social pressure to be the same as everyone else; it's a huge problem. I have my own style, my own opinions, my own beauty and power. We should celebrate our differences -- not criticize, exclude, and shame people for their choices. I'm a confident woman: I know that my outward appearance is just part of who I am. But it still hurts when someone tells me: "you'd be really pretty if you wore makeup more often," or "you looked so good when you were younger" or "maybe you should lose a few pounds." Ha! I am my own version of perfection -- I'm the best (and only) Heather Dale there is. You should be your own beautiful self too, no matter what anyone else thinks.
