On a cold and dreary weekend in October 2018, Seth Adams and David Ladon packed up their instruments and set off for Bright Angel Retreat Center in Union Pier, Michigan. Under the guidance of Chicago DIY archivist and producer, Chris Lee (Dark Circles Records, Mykele Deville), we teamed up with a menagerie of guest artists to record this multi-lingual collection of Chanukah favorites. The first Animal Farm release to feature cover songs, "Hanukkah! Chanukah! Khanike!" includes songs in Yiddish, Ladino, Hebrew, and English. Seamlessly blending Klezmer, Rock, Jazz, and Folk, these high-energy songs are sure to liven up any holiday party!
