Phase 1: On Planet Popstar, Kirby once again encounters a recurring foe—Zero, now in his third and most powerful form. This story, imagined in a fan game concept titled Kirby and the Dark Interloper, begins with Kirby already in the throes of a final battle.

As the game opens, Kirby faces the ultimate boss: Zero3, a colossal Black Hole Being at the core of all nightmares. Towering as large as a sun, Zero3 represents the clash between Light and Dark. Armed with a mysterious quantum weapon known as the Alumina Bow—a bow and arrow capable of slicing through realities—Kirby must bring an end to this cosmic war.
