Description
This labyrinth of tunnels under the city of Naples was originally created as an escape route for the King to safely exit his Palace. But whilst the tunnels were built to save a single individual, these tunnels saved thousands as Neapolitans sheltered from bombs during WWII, although some unusual items have been left behind.
