MUSIC MONDAY EP. 58:

This week's music reaction/review/music Monday is a brand new duo to the channel, Paris Texas.

In this reaction I listened to the tracks, "tenTHIRTYseven, split-screen, and DnD (feat. Kenny Mason)" off of their newest album, "Mid Air."

Labeled as alternative rap, I wasn't sure what to expect going into this project. These dudes have a unique sound, one that my ear is not accustomed to hearing just quite yet.

I enjoyed the experience though, it left me feeling animated for the new generation of artists that are coming up. It is artists, albums, songs, concepts like these that show the deeply creative side of the music that is starting to evolve to the surface.

The Kenny Mason feature was great, too. Favorite track was split-screen, just based off of how it sounded. Need to hear more of the project to get a firm grasp on these guys but they made a solid first impression on me.
