Summer Ashly is a relative new voice on the local music scene. We caught up with her at The Eastdo Music Fest, at the Eastdown Warehouse this night. Summer is a small town girl with big dreams. "Found my love of music at the age of 7," says Summer Ashly. "When I sang my first solo in Church. My passion continued throughout the years. Influences stem from Church Hymns to Classical Country, Rock and Roll to Pop Ballads have all molded me stylistically, as well as my personality. I enjoy the boldness and diversity of life and it translates to my music. It’s never too late to do what you love." And Summer really love's what's she doing. It shows in her music. Here she is performing a version of Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly With His Song." 5/9/2015
