Steve Smith & Vital Information invited saxophone guru George Garzone https://georgegarzone.com/ to the Dec. 3, 2022 recording session for their album TIME FLIES. On the album George is featured on the McCoy Tyner tune "Inception." After performing "Inception," George, Manuel Valera, Janek Gwizdala and Steve Smith played a series of improvisations. One of these improvisations became the title track for the album TIME FLIES. This video shows that piece of music being recorded in real time.
