Hey "Star Wars" fans! Here's something that I have found, it's an 8-track release of the "Star Wars" soundtrack. This album was released around 1977, featuring John Williams and the London Symphony Orchestra. This 2-LP set contains the complete score to the original 1977 film in the classic trilogy entitled "A New Hope". This LP was released on the 20th Century-Fox label, but it is so hard to find if you are a true "Star Wars" collector. There was also an expanded soundtrack which was also released on CD in 1997 by RCA Victor and again in 2004 on the Sony Classical label.

This is the complete soundtrack to the original 1977 film in the "Star Wars" saga, and I still have this 8-track tape in my collection.

And as you know, Disney now owns Lucasfilm and "Star Wars" since it was first announced back at the end of October since they acquired the rights to the franchise and the upcoming "Episode 7" which will be release in 2015. In honor of that, here is the "Star Wars" and may the force be with you.

This song was played on my 1972 Panasonic RS-803US recordable 8-track deck.
