Jazz pianist and music producer Skinny Hightower pulled from the “A” list of contemporary & smooth jazz Artists to collaborate with on some of the tracks for his new album. On this beautifully-composed chill jazz track, Skinny is accompanied by soul/urban jazz trumpeter, composer, and music producer Lin Rountree. Lin is no stranger to the jazz community, having released several solo albums and, of which two were with Trippin N’ Rhythm records. As I had previously mentioned in the write-up for the “Emotions” video, this album has 15 tracks with various smooth & contemporary jazz and up-tempo grooves that gives it Chartbuster potential. Seems I was right. The album was listed in Amazon’s HOT NEW releases for a few weeks after its release in May and two of the songs from the album [Emotions & Taboo] has already hit a few smoothjazz charts and the SJ Billboard chart. Congratulations to Skinny Hightower for having released this successful album.
