Description
Please listen on a full-range stereo system or with headphones for best results.
Here is a look at 7 different drum kits I use for gigging. The drums range from very small compact nesting kits to full-size jazz kits. The price for these drums' ranges from very expensive (several thousand dollars) to inexpensive (under $500). I consider all of the drums in this video to be jazz sizes, and the largest Bass Drum you will see here is 14' x 20".
I demonstrate all of the kits with mallets, brushes, and sticks. I also list the heads I am using on the drums.
These kits appeared many years ago in a video I created, which was called "Jazz Drum Sets". I talk a lot in that video, so this version is just the drums without all of the gabbing.
If you have an abundance of time, you can see the full movie here:

I am using a single stereo microphone to record the audio (an AKG C24), located right over my head.
There is no EQ, compression, or other processing involved.
This is so you can hear all of the sets in a raw, acoustic environment.
Here are the featured Drum Sets and the times that they appear in the video.
