Guilty Pleasure Time! This song was judged, rather unfairly I think, to be a joke... ever since William Hung "sang" it on his infamous American Idol audition, "She Bang!" has been synonymous with laughably bad music. But the thing is, it's actually a great song! Co-written by songwriter-to-the-stars Desmond Child, it's got all the things I look for in a great pop song. Well defined Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus structure, awesome production, and a top quality vocal performance from Ricky Martin, who is a way better singer than he usually gets credit for.

Now that it's approaching its 20th Birthday this coming October, it's time to listen to it for what it is, rather than what tried to overshadow it. Instead of remembering William Hung on American Idol, let's remember Drew Carey as Llama on The Masked Singer. Or better yet, just stick with the original, and let the great times flow!
