Description
[Mono] Mr. Thompson's composition is given the treatment by the in-house band, which includes Hiram Bullock on guitar, Philippe Saisse on keyboards, Don Alias on percussion, David Sanborn on sax, Omar Hakim on drums, and Tom Barney on bass.
Jo-El Sonnier covers the main vocal duties, and plays the accordion, approximating his version of the song for this performance. A good time seems to be had by all, and Mr. Thompson is evidently pleased with the results, too. This brilliant program was the idea of Hal Willner.
