Nataly’s Corner introduces new music from the 2024 album “Straight Up Down” (released September 6th) by world-renowned contemporary jazz saxophonist Richard Elliot. Though he maintains an impressive discography, with popular albums such as Chill Factor and Summer Madness, it has been a few years since we heard from Richard Elliot. Known for his zebra striped tenor sax, Richard is back with a new groove…and with a “silver fox” look (very charming) to add. His absence during these past years has kept music listeners starving for the quality of jazz sax that he’s accustomed to giving so I am excited to have this vibrant saxophonist’s music on my Channel for the first time. Straight Up Down just shows that, despite the long wait, Richard Elliot was “straight up” ready to indulge us again with nine songs of his sax flavor.
