Manila Girl is one of our favorite songs and was crucial in establishing our prominence when we were just starting out as a ska band.

One night, while performing this song at an event, we were surprised to find out that the original singer of the song (from a band no longer together) was also scheduled to perform it. We even considered not playing 'Manila Girl' ourselves.

That same night, a producer from Camarines Sur, Philippines, who was scouting for new talent, happened to be in the bar. Fortunately, they loved our rendition of the song and invited us to meet. The rest, as they say, is history."

Much respect with Put3ska, the original band behind 'Manila Girl'—it’s truly a masterpiece. Without this song, we might not be where we are today.
