Description
After a nice evening at Pemberley with the Gardiners and Elizabeth, Mr Darcy, the Bingleys and the Hursts retire for a chat. Miss Bingley grows more jealous by the minute and tries to remind Darcy of all of Lizzy's imperfections: she's a bit tanned (horror!) and her teeth are only tolerable.
Sadly for her, Darcy knows Eliza well enough now and he can see that, while Caroline Bingley upsets Georgiana by mentioning Mr Wickham, Lizzy is a kinder person and entertains her at the pianoforte. There's really no comparison, is there?
