Description
Kurt Bestor wrote "Prayer of the Children" in the 1990's in honor of the children of Croatia. Sadly, this song is now being sung in honor of the children of Ukraine. We substitute the language of Ukraine in place of the Croatian words featured briefly in the song which translate, "Can you hear the prayer of the children?" We wanted to communicate to the audience as strongly as possible that children are suffering, so we created an image of children and mothers traveling across the border with rolling suitcases and stuffed animals, leaving behind their entire lives, including their fathers.
