In this video, we will learn all about Poster Making.
What is a Poster?
A Poster is a visual means of communication used to convey the message efficiently and effectively.
It is made up of both text and images to make it eye-catching and informative.
It is used for making an announcement or appeal, issuing a notice, advertising a product, or bringing about awareness on any issue of public interest.
The art of making a poster is called "Poster Making".
Format of Poster Making :
1. First, draw a rectangular box the size of the poster.
2. In the top-middle, write the title or theme of the poster.
3. Exactly below it, write the slogan or quote related to the theme for which the poster is being created.
4. Now, at both ends, create two bubbles and write some short information or quote in them.
5. Now, Below the first bubble, you can write the points related to the theme, that you want the audience to get information.
You can use bullets or draw a short image related to the point.
We will see it in our example.
6. Now, Below the second bubble, and right next to the bulleted points draw a picture related to the theme.
7. Draw a line just above the end of the poster, and mention here, the issuing authority, or the person or organization who has issued
this poster and the reason for issuing it, you may add some brief information here, if needed.
Though there is no fixed format, this format might help you to get going.
