Presented this beautiful Raag Mishra Maru Bihaag based Meera Bai Bhajan, at Janamashthami Celebrations in Shree Satyanarayan Mandir, where I was invited with my group to sing for a warm, devoted, hospitable audience, waiting to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna at 12.00am🙏😊🎶 This bhajan was originally composed and performed by the legendary Shobha Gurtu ji. My guruji, the legendary Pandit Sudhindra Bhaumik ji was blessed to have learnt it directly from Shobhaji, and I was privileged to have learned it from him🙏 Such is our Guru Shishya parampara, where these musical gems are passed on over generations through "Gurmukhi"...as in "directly through the vocals of Gurus"🙏 Couldn't have done this without musical support from Patrick Bashir, Yash Chawaria, and my daughter Palakshi❤️🎶 Do share your thoughts🎶🙏
