Released on July 24, 2020, Hardcastle 9 is proving to be the album that “re-energizes” music producer Paul Hardcastle’s signature sound for smooth jazz mixed with rhythm and dance. But I should note that Paul’s previous work never lost its luster. As a matter of fact, there’s been a phenomena of new Hardcastlemusic fans ever since Hardcastle VII was released in 2013. I believe that part of the success to his (Jazzmaster & Hardcastle Series) discography has been Paul’s decision to include saxophone music on his compositions. Such has been the case with having his son, Paul Hardcastle Jr, a talented saxophonist. Additionally his decision to include master jazz saxophonist Rock Hendricks on his work has led to a few top-rated songs from Hardcastle 7 & 8 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart. On Hardcastle 9, Hendricks is the sax accompaniment on several tracks, including this smooth featured song which will make you wish you were on the Beach every day!
