Osvaldo Fresedo, nicknamed El pibe de La Paternal ("the kid from La Paternal") was and accomplished bandoneonist, who played with many a orchestra before going in his own long journey.
He had one of the longest recording careers in tango history, from 1920 to 1980. Roberto Ray was probably his most famous vocalist.
But, during the 50’s he made some amazing tangos with Hector Pacheco and as usual I bring you “not the usual” tanda and I present from 1952:
