Description
The banshee myth has changed drastically over time, all but losing her original significance and replaced by the modern-day harbinger of doom she is now often thought to be. This poem was intended as an attempt to mourn this shift away from her origins as a protector against grief and loss. Hopefully it is received in the spirit it was intended.
