Lzzy Hale of Halestorm visited American Songwriter's studio to talk about 30 years of Halestorm and their powerful album, Everest. Everest marks the band's sixth studio effort, a project that captures the complex emotions that come with being in the music industry for nearly 30 years. “All of these songs started as either conversations or poetry, ”Hale says. “We wanted to share all of the things, all of the hardship, the journeys, leave more questions than answers. It's just our truth."
