Description
O Barquinho or Little Boat was composed by Roberto Menescal in 1962, and has become a favourite with jazz improvisers because of its lively melodic line and inspiring 'harmonic rhythm', played here by Greg Lyons on soprano sax, Christy Smith on bass, Darryl Ervin on drums, Fabiola Zuniga on congas, with arranger Simplicius Cheong at the piano.
