Where should I start? Well one of my favourite versions of Rockin' Chair is the one that Noel and Gem performed at Royal Albert Hall in 2010 - unfortunately there is not a single recording out there that's of good quality.
So I took one of the few audience recordings from youtube, ran it through a stem splitter, removed everything besides Noel's vocals re-recorded all the instrument parts and tried to clean up the original vocal to the best of my ability.
The drums/percussion I have recorded with Logic's software drumpad on my iPad...
I also recorded a bass part, there was no bass on the original performance, so I learned the bass line(s) from the studio recording - I'm no bass player, as a matter of fact I've never played a bass before practicing for this video - I'm slowly getting used to it - but for the time being I have the feeling that this bloody bass guitar tries to play me instead...
