This was the first single released after the departure of Diana Ross in early 1970. My first impression was that new primary lead singer Jean Terrell sounds like cross between Diana and Dionne Warwick and arguably a better singer than Ross. It was a great start for the "new" Supremes and became a Top ten hit. This version includes an extra verse in the bridge, with some background vocals not heard in the original. This song remains a masterpiece of soul and pop and close to my heart. I hope you enjoy this new version and video!!
