Description
Iruka (イルカ) is a Japanese folk singer who made her singing debut in 1970
Iruka got interested in music when she saw her dad play the saxophone for the band Stardust in the late 50s. She went to college at the Joshibi University of Art and Design. where she got the name Iruka. Her solo career took off in 1974, when she released the single "Ano Koro no Boku wa". "Nagori Yuki" her hit single came one year later in 1975.
Her real name is Kanbe Toshie - 神部としえ
