Not "My Romance" this time, just "Romance" by Walter Donaldson and Edgar Leslie, from 1929. It has been recorded as a waltz, a fox-trot, and whatever through the years. I have it from an old organ LP called "Organ Hi-Fi" by Jerry Mendelssohn on the Hammond Organ, on Halifax Records, from the late fifties, I think. I never played it before this morning, and I learned it just now from listening to the record a few times today. I like the song because it's so doggone sweet on the organ. "Life is Good" with the old music and styles, today, on 7/13/2022. Pull those drawbars... and send it through a Leslie. Thanks for listening..... 😎🌴🎹
