The majestic arrangement (by Jeremy Lubbock & David Foster) starts out softly, then slowly builds to a spine-tingling crescendo, creating an unforgettable and timeless Christmas masterpiece.

David Foster would later use this arrangement again, on recordings by Celine Dion and Josh Groban... and while their versions are fine, they don't quite recapture the magic of Michael Crawford's version.
