To celebrate Independence Day, we are delighted to perform a work connected with Israeli culture and spirit - Alexander (Sasha) Argov Song Cycle for Symphony Orchestra - Menachem Wiesenberg's arrangement of five songs by Sasha Argov: When a Light Shines Through Your Window, All is Gold, The Purple Dress, Eliphelet and To the Desert.

The work brings together two musicians who composed and arranged hundreds of songs for numerous Israeli artists:
Israel Prize recipient Sasha Argov, one of the foremost Israeli composers, who turned the poems of Natan Yonatan, Haim Gouri and Nathan Alterman into popular hits, which were performed by many celebrated Israeli singers.
Menachem Wiesenberg, one of the most prominent and versatile Israeli musicians, an award-winning composer, arranger, pianist and pedagogue.
