#songsofcomfort Night #321: Meet Me Down on Mainstreet - For this "Main Street Monday" in tribute to my host travel agency, Main Street Magic, LLC I ended up going down down an unplanned rabbit hole and found this gem while searching for a list of songs that is in the Main St. USA Disney World loop. This is the song that preceded "Walking Down the Middle of Main St USA" and was written by The Mellomen. The Mellomen also wrote and sang "Trick or Treat for Halloween" and they provided vocals for other Disney films like Lady and the Tramp and Alice in Wonderland. They also sang "Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for Me" for Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean as well as one of their singers, Thurl Ravenscroft, provided the vocals for the lead singing bust in Grim Grinning Ghosts for the Haunted Mansion. So please grab your ears and Disney gear and meet me on this musical Main Street tonight!
